Day 14 -Glacier National Park

Like so many of the National Parks we have visited this trip, not all the roads have been cleared and opened. We were able to travel about 17 miles of the Going To The Sun road, including a 4 mile section opened just this morning. Because the pass over the Rockies is so high, it will probably be late June before the entire road is open for the season. We also went in on the East side and found snow still on the roadside. We also had at least 4 snow showers of brief duration. While on the East side, we went to Browning http://www.browningmontana.com/ and visited the Blackfeet Museum. Wonderful displays of Indian clothing and ornaments along with Blackfeet historical information. (no pictures allowed).
